Rare Tattoo 1940's Metal Compact Rouge With Powder Puff

Rare Tattoo 1940's Metal Compact Rouge With Powder Puff

£80.00Price

A powder rouge by Tattoo, released in 1940. Very rare to come across.

Thanks to information from Makeup Museum . org, I was able to find out that this line was introduced in the 1930s by a Canadian military/stunt pilot, turned businessman James Leslie Younghusband.

Condition:  The metal compact is in good condition, some of the enamel has come off on the base.  There is still rouge left inside. There is no inscription on the back.  It looks to be a beautiful vibrant carmine shade. The latch opens and closes smoothly.

Measurements: Measures 3cm in diameter.

*Please note, this is a collectors item, and should be used for display purposes only. The rouge should not be used.*
